Bass Drum Pedal Yamaha Direct Drive Double DFP9500D
£389.99 Inc. Vat
Double-pedal version of the FP9500D direct drive, newly designed spurs on the slave pedal, and a smooth, universal linkage.
Stable and well-engineered. Yamaha bass drum pedals impress with their robust construction, precise action, and numerous practical features. Frame design: A frame reinforcement developed specifically by Yamaha-located directly beneath the drive shaft-guarantees maximum stability and durability, while ensuring a noticeably lighter and more consistent drive, particularly in double-pedal setups.
Description:
Double-sided beater
Two beaters in one. The standard felt surface can be swapped for a plastic surface-offering a feel similar to a wood beater-simply by rotating the beater head.
Beater shaft mount
The teardrop-shaped shaft mount prevents the double-sided beater from rotating during play.
Simply loosening the adjustment screw allows you to change the beater angle independently of the footboard angle.
Adjustable spring tension with locking mechanism
Spring adjustment is easy and can be done with one hand. The locking mechanism prevents the spring from loosening while playing.
Clamp mechanism for easy bass drum attachment
The clamp for attaching to the bass drum hoop is securely fastened via a wing bolt.
Adjustable footboard angle
The pedal angle (in the resting position) can be adjusted independently of the beater angle. Using a standard drum key, the angle can be aligned with “adjacent” hi-hat or sub-pedals.
Ball-bearing spring mount
High-quality ball bearings ensure smooth, consistent action.
Reinforced frame
Rubberised shaft ends prevent the footboard from detaching from the frame.

Tama HP910LWN Speed Cobra Double Bass Drum Pedal Accu-Strike Beater
Over the years, one of the greatest challenges facing drum pedal manufacturers has been to provide a pedal that “does it all”. Or at the very least, focuses on the most critical features that drummers absolutely demand to enhance their performance. A difficult task, by any means. By today’s standards the two most important features desired are speed and power. With most pedals, if you adjust the playability to address speed, you can sometimes lose power. And if you focus primarily on the feeling of power, you sometimes lose the desired speed. Now, the rules have changed.
