Mapex Armory P810 Responsive Drive Single Bass Drum Pedal Details The P810 makes use of a double chain drive, ensuring it is durable and has a smooth feel. All bass drum angles are accommodated whilst the pedal is flat, due to a self-adjusting hoop clamp with a side-mounted adjuster. The P810 consists of a Falcon Series Beater, which comes with both 10g and 20g weights so that the user can customise the feel of the P810. An extended footboard increases speed, and gives the player plenty of room to find the perfect foot placement.

The optimised transmission design precisely positions and aligns the contact point between the cam, direct link, and foot-board, achieving the perfect overall balance of power, speed, and feel.

In order to convert motion force from foot-board to cam, Tama developed a study double-link cam connection system which holds the rotation axis bearings equally from both sides producing almost perfect energy transfer from the foot-board to the cam – therefore creating tremendous reaction speed and power.

The Iron Cobra 200 series was developed with the same design concepts as the Iron Cobra 900 series, and offers high performance at an affordable price. The Power Glide cam shape provides a smooth, light feel without sacrificing power or speed. And both the HP200P and HP200PTW can be fitted with TAMA’s Cobra Coil for an even faster footboard return.

The newest addition to the Iron Cobra series, the Iron Cobra 600’s most unique feature is a reversible cam called the “Duo Glide Cam.” A simple adjustment allows fast changes between a true round “Rolling Glide” sprocket and an offset “Power Glide” sprocket. Drummers can choose the appropriate cam based on playing style, musical environment, and personal preference. In addition, the Iron Cobra 600 features a newly designed hinge for precise footboard action, and ball bearing equipped “Speedo-Ring” rocker cam.
