The YESS system (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) supports the drum at the top and bottom and securely mounts the tom bracket onto the shell using a 3-piece fastening system. This means that the drum is completely isolated and does not touch any other part of the kit to allow it to sing through with maximum sustain. With the YESS system, you can achieve much clearer drum tones, without having to put up with unwanted dampening or rattling sounds.

The MC66 features the FastClamp easy set up system, which makes set up much faster. Simply open the FastClamp like a clothespeg, close it around the stand and then tighten the T-bolt while the FastClamp holds the clamp in place.
