This Spruce top is elegantly combined with quilted Maple back and sides which not only adds to the overall appearance of the Takamine GN75CE, but also delivers an emphasis on the upper mids and high end registers. The term ‘quilt’ refers to the very distinctive patterning on the wood itself, often similar to ripples on water.
