Ziricote & Solid Spruce
The back and sides consist of ziricote wood, which is a popular type of wood which creates a tone very similar to rosewood but with a great mid range tone. Solid spruce is a very flexible, strong wood making it a essential component for your guitar. Solid spruce tops age slowly and matures in tone meaning that your guitar will have a longer lifetime. Some guitarists like there guitar to grow/mature along side them to make them feel attached to the instrument. The spruce top delivers a beautiful blooming tone and linear sound.
Mahogany Neck & Ovangkal Fingerboard
The GD90CE-ZC has a mahogany neck creating a warm dark tone with a natural feel.The neck wood is light and allows a range of styles for you to play. Along with this, the fingerboard is crafted from Ovangkal which creates a very strong and clear tone at the same time as making the guitar look amazing and also giving you the best possible natural feel.
