The Remo Encore drum heads are the price-performance star from Remo’s drum skin range. The drumheads are manufactured in the Taiwanese Remo factory. A manufacturing difference is made when attaching the Mylar film to the aluminium ring: Instead of connecting the two with liquid glue which is expensive, the striking surface is pressed into the aluminium ring together with a steel core and thus firmly joins together the mylar and hoop.
