Description
The Tango Line of Artisan Cajons has two groupings of three pre-tuned metal micro-coiled Cajon strings that span across the inside of the playing surface for a crisp snare effect. These strings are hand-wound in the style of master Cajon builder, Jos “Pepote” Hernndez Diaz. Rounded corners and thumb notches on the top of the front plate and resonating body optimize playing comfort and sound. The 7-Ply, 9 mm thick Baltic Birch body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth. Available with Limba, Light Eucalyptus, Grey Eucalyptus, or Brown Eucalyptus finish front plates. Made in Spain.

The MEINL Jam Cajon with fixed internal snares is perfect for playing on the go. Its compact design is lightweight and easy to carry to drum circles or acoustic gigs. Crafted in Europe from Baltic birch wood, the Jam Cajon has great low end punch when played near the centre and dishes out snare drum “slap” sounds when striking the top corners of the playing surface.
