Measuring at 14 inches in diameter and with a medium weight the XIST Hi-Hats are a high performance set of hi-hats which not only sound warm and full but look great.

The Istanbul Xist series offers a modern edge with a history of world class leading traditional cymbal making. The cymbals produce a powerful modern sound thanks to the pre-form casting manufacturing method, which requires 3000 less hammer blows to finish than traditional methods.

The master cymbal smith Agop Tomurcuk lived a life dedication to hand made craftsmanship and innovation in cymbal design. His small notebook contained a lifetime of cymbal making secrets and ideas for the eventual creation of this series. These cymbals are made according to these exacting specifications. They were the last Project of his life. The Agop Signature Series are extremely dark, trashy, dry and complex.
