The TMB4 maple neck features a rosewood fretboard with 20 medium frets. The TMB electronic system paves the road to a variety of classic tones. The Ibanez DXP neck pickup and DXJ bridge pickup deliver rich, vintage sound while the Ibanez Custom Electronics 2-band active EQ offers a variety of tonal options. The controls feature a stacked volume knob/balancer and a stacked tone knob with bass boost/cut and treble boost/cut.

The Talman body shape is a classic. The Ibanez TMB30 features that classic body shape. Vintage looks and play-ability are complemented classic tones. It has a mahogany body with an Ivory finish. Bolted onto the body is a maple neck with Jatoba fretboard. It gives the TMB30-IV a 30 inch short scale length. For beginners and those struggling with a full length neck it is perfect. Tones come courtesy of two Dynamix pickups. These are in a P and J setup for a vintage tones.
