Ibanez AZ24S2 Electric Guitar, Black
£385.99 Inc. Vat
Roasted maple neck and ergonomic construction
The AZ24S2 is built around Ibanez’s modern AZ platform, designed to balance comfort, stability, and tonal consistency. Its roasted maple neck is heat treated to improve moisture resistance and structural reliability, helping the guitar maintain a consistent setup. Combined with the Super All Access Neck Joint, the design allows smooth, unrestricted access to higher frets. This makes complex chord shapes, fast lead passages, and extended playing sessions feel natural, controlled, and comfortable.
Modern fretboard feel and stainless steel precision
A Jatoba fretboard provides a focused midrange character with a crisp, articulate high end that keeps notes clear under gain. Its jumbo stainless steel frets offer fast response and long term durability. Stainless steel resists corrosion far better than other fret materials, preserving playability and intonation over years of use. Bends feel smooth, vibrato stays controlled, and chords remain clean and defined across the entire neck.
Ibanez Modern Custom pickups and dyna-MIX10 switching
Ibanez Modern Custom humbuckers are voiced for clarity, output, and fast attack, making them ideal for contemporary tones and styles. Alnico magnets deliver punchy lows, articulate mids, and controlled highs that stay defined under distortion. The dyna-MIX10 switching system expands this versatility dramatically, offering ten distinct sound options. Using the Alter Switch, players can access humbucker, split, and power tap modes without volume loss or tonal imbalance. This flexibility suits varied genres, rigs, recording situations, and changing musical roles.
Locking machine heads and the T106 tremolo bridge work together to keep tuning stable and precise. Locking tuners reduce string slippage and speed up restringing, while the six saddle tremolo allows accurate height and intonation adjustment. Comfortable string spacing supports controlled vibrato and chord clarity. Durable chrome hardware ensures reliability, making the AZ24S2 a dependable instrument. It remains consistent under aggressive playing, whether that’s at home, in the studio, or on tour.
