Drum Kit Sonor AQX Stage With Bronze Cymbals And Hardware, Blue Ocean Sparkle
The AQX kit features AQ series lugs with tune-safe features, these lugs offer accurate tuning to keep your drums in tune during use. This is ideal for beginner drummers - allowing them to concentrate on playing instead of setting up. Similarly, the bass drum features a pre-muffled bass drum head, this reduces any unwanted kick drum resonance ensuring that no power is lost when the kick is struck. The muffling also helps to deliver a punchy kick tone.

To achieve this, Sonor has gone to great lengths to develop their Cross Lamination Tension Free design which layers each ply of beechwood at a 90-degree angle to form a perfectly rounded shell that is tension-free. Sonor has also developed their Optimum Shell Measurement system which utilises slightly undersized shell diameters to give the drum headroom to float freely allowing for unrestricted contact between the drum head and bearing edge.

Sonor's Vintage series shells are made with nine plies of beechwood for a 6mm total thickness. This allows for a precise and warm tone with a penetrating, consistent volume. This ties in perfectly with the rounded bearing edges which deliver a warm tone with a resounding deep resonance.
