Ernesto Palla concert quality classical guitar strings are made of a solid nylon filament. Silver fourth, fifth, and sixth wound strings are made of silver plated copper wrapped around a nylon floss core providing a smooth, rich tone. All Ernie Ball strings are precision manufactured to the highest standards and most exacting specs to assure consistency, optimum performance, and long life.

Gauges: First = .028, Second = .032, Third = .040, Fourth = .030, Fifth = .036, Sixth = .042 Medium tension.

EJ44C Composites Extra-Hard Tension

Pro-Arte Composites are constructed using an excusive multifilament stranded core material which dramtically improves the life and tuning consistency of the wound strings. Like all ProArte strings, the trebles are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine which performs diameter/tension measurements and quality checks to insure precise intonation. Composite sets feature an additional high-projection Composite 3rd string, which provides more tonal flexibility and balanced volume transition between the basses and trebles.

EJ48 Pro-Arte 80/20 Bronze Wound Hard Tension

Pro-Arte strings are our the world’s best selling and D’Addario’s premium classical guitar strings. All Pro-Arte treble strings are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine which performs diameter/tension measurements and quality checks, insuring true sounding, precise trebles in every set. J47 basses are wound using 80/20 Bronze on a multi-filament nylon core for slightly brighter tone.
