The Yamaha CS8W Double Braced Boom Cymbal Stand is built for drummers wanting stable support and flexible cymbal positioning. Its double-braced legs provide a sturdy foundation, while the 83-159cm height range helps you place your cymbal comfortably around your kit. A step-free tilter gives you smooth angle adjustment, letting you dial in the playing position without fixed increments.
The quick-release nut speeds up cymbal changes while providing secure tightening once fitted. Yamaha’s sound-enhancing cymbal washer combines foam rubber with a firmer silicone core, allowing your cymbal to vibrate freely while giving you control over its response. You can also remove the outer section and use the silicone core alone for increased sustain. For extra flexibility, the 43cm boom arm can be stored inside the upper tube, converting the CS8W into a straight stand and making it more compact for transport.
