These Made in Germany instruments project with a full and articulate sound, characteristic for SONOR drums. Their heavy beech shell is made using our proprietary Cross-Laminated Tension Free (CLTF) process and Optimum Shell Measurements (OSM). The slightly undersized diameter allows for perfect contact between the shell and the drumhead in all tunings. At the same time, TuneSafe lugs and Remo USA drumheads guarantee maximum tuning stability and a great sound right out of the box.

Constructed from 14 plies of German beechwood, the shells on the Sonor Jost Nickel 14 x 6.25'' Beechwood Signature Snare produce striking tones from low to mid frequencies at an impressive volume. Featuring a 45-degree bearing edge, the snare also offers controlled but natural resonance with a resounding sustain making for an explosive overall sound.
A finessed finish
The Sonor Jost Nickel Signature Snare drum isn't your normal black snare drum. The piano black finish almost has a life of its own with the intense amount of gloss it includes. It suits any style of kit perfectly and topped off with a vivid silver stripe, it is sure to grab attention from all angle. If that wasn't enough to show off, the snare drum comes complete with perfectly chrome-plated hardware to add the cherry on the top and that extra glimmer.
