The latest Sonor Benny Greb Signature Snare features a dampening system never before seen on a snare drum. Aptly named “the sheep” and “the felt”, the two dampeners are mounted internally on the drum and are applied to the drum head via adjusters on the outer shell. The dampeners provide a unique sound ranging from big open tones to intricate, funky tones. What’s more, both dampeners are completely interchangeable allowing you to produce your own, truly unique snare sound
